NDIS Support for Parents + Families - Get Support from People Who Get It -

OUR MISSION IS SIMPLE

We want to reduce your mental load and give you a clear pathway forward, so your loved one can receive the best possible outcomes from their NDIS plan.

Our NDIS SOS Sessions are strategically designed to do exactly that.

WHAT’S INCLUDED

NDIS SOS SESSION

As this is a once-off, online service, it works a little differently to our ongoing Support Coordination service. Here’s a break down of what to expect from your NDIS SOS Session.

  • We’ll ask you to complete a form before our meeting, so we can ensure we’re up to speed on where you’re at and so we can provide tailored suggestions.

We want you to get as much as possible out of your session, so we want to be well prepared.

  • During the online meeting we will work through the topics, roadblocks or goals you highlighted in your Clarity Questionnaire.

We will work with you to determine what the top priorities are and go from there.

Each session looks different for every person, as no two participants are the same. Usually sessions include collaborative brainstorming, problem-solving, making suggestions, as well as critical and creative thinking.

We want you to leave your SOS Session feeling like a weight has been lifted off your shoulders, because you have a clear idea of where you need to go next, and what needs to be done.

  • This in-depth report will cover what was discussed during the meeting and an action plan of what to tackle next.

This document is yours to keep and can work as your go-to handbook for you to refer back to as often as you need to.

The cost of this service is $350.00 and is able to be claimed from most NDIS plans.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • We understand not everyone receives Support Coordination funding (although we think you should for at least your first NDIS plan!).

In order to receive regular and ongoing 1:1 support from Achievable, you do need to have Support Coordination funded in the plan (either self or plan managed).

However, we do provide ‘once-off’ support, NDIS SOS Sessions to provide a clear path forward for parents who are struggling to get their head around the scheme or need an outside perspective on understanding how to use their NDIS plan more effectively.

We also have a range of resources available for anyone on the scheme, like our Carer’s Statement Template or Progress Report Templates.

  • As we are a small, independent Support Coordination provider, we are not registered with NDIA and therefore cannot work with NDIA-managed participants.

  • Yes (if the NDIS plan is self or plan managed) you can likely claim the cost of our online resources from the plan. If you are NDIA-managed, you will need to pay for these resources with your own money.

We’re confident that you won’t need us forever.

Our aim is to equip you with the skills and knowledge you need to confidently navigate the NDIS yourself. Through engaging with our online resources, interactive templates and 1:1 support services, we know you will have the tools to get the best outcome for your family.

We know you've got this!
